Every age should be occupied with exercising because exercise is the most important “medicine” for a person’s body and organism. Exercise aims to the better functioning of many systems of the human body and therefore is a way to promote health in the society. There are often stereotypes as it comes for the elderly such as “do not run, you have your lungs / heart”, “do not exercise you may get sick because of aerobics”. All of these are completely wrong, so let’s take a look at the benefits of exercising for the elderly.

One of the major benefits of exercise in general is the prevention of diseases. Regular exercise has been identified to be the most effective way to prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart and respiratory diseases.
