Foteini Papia

Fotini grew up in a beautiful village near Meteora. That is why she got deeply connected with nature from an early age. Gaining valuable knowledge from nature but also from her grandfather, she learned various secrets about medicinal plants, herbs, traditional healing techniques and how she can relieve human pain with them. She describes herself as a special, tender and dynamic soul, while at the same time she has already achieved a lot in her life. And now she’s set out to spread her wings for new horizons, wanting to transfer her special knowledge to others. Her purpose is to help and provide the “Health” of man! Foteini started as a volleyball athlete at AO Metoron. The transition to classical sports took place at the age of 14. In her 8-year career as an athlete, she counts several pan-Hellenic victories (as an athlete of AO Trikala), but also a distinction in the Balkan races as a junior in the 400m. Later, as an amateur, she started cycling with distinctions in local competitions and in panel competitions (as an athlete of AO Aeolos, Athens), as well as several participations in triathlon competitions. She is a member of the mountaineering association AOS Acharnon doing mountaineering, climbing and downhill. She studied Business Administration at the University of Thessaly with a master’s degree in Public Relations & Marketing and then worked in large organizations and companies (BMW, Opel, Volvo, Reetsma Hellas etc.). However, her studies did not stop there, she is a graduate of Base Training with a specialization in Professional Personal Training. and also a graduate of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Academy of Ancient Greek & Chinese Traditional Medicine), with a scholarship from Tianjin University of China. She has attended seminars for special populations, neurosurgery and various massage, acupuncture and rehabilitation techniques, she continues to be constantly trained and evolving, participating in seminars and scientific conferences in Greece and abroad. Today she lives in Athens, where she works as a freelancer and external collaborator in various sports centers, as a special trainer for adults and children, takes care of the national wrestling team and a special therapist specializing in musculoskeletal and neurological cases. She also offers services as an alternative therapist in large hotels in Mykonos and Santorini. For 3 years she volunteered his services at the National University Institute of Mental Health (Aeginiti Branch), doing therapeutic exercise, while participating in research that had the effect of therapeutic exercise on people with mental disabilities. So as long as there are people around us who will turn their profession into a function and purpose of their life, then we can hope for a better future!
