 It is known that exercise is a means of improving the physical and mental health of people, while providing them a great source for their well-being. This applies to everyone regardless of their age.  Exercise is needed especially for preschool children who are in their first steps in their life and gaining their first experiences.

Needs of preschool children

Preschoolers need to follow a healthy diet, gain lots of sleep, have fun and lots of exercise to keep their body and mind healthy. 

Advantages of exercise in preschool age 

Regarding exercise, physical activity is extremely beneficial for children for the following reasons: 

  • Good physique
  • Satisfactory bone formation,in order tobe strong to prevent osteoporosis 
  • Creating a strong muscular system
  • Enhancement of good cardiovascular and pulmonary function
  • Improving motor skills such as running, throwing, etc.
  • Reduce the risk of obesity and various serious health problems
  • Improve sleepingactivity
  • Creating communication skills
  • Strengthening social relations
  • Enhance cooperation with others
