MMA known as Mixed Martial Arts is familiar to us as a hardcore sport. These are characterized by their explosiveness and speed and have many dimensions.
What is MMA?
MMA is a martial art in which there is complete contact with the opponent. It allows the use of advanced techniques and movements, which seem impressive to the audience, creating an amazing spectacle. Athletes stand on the ground and perform these complex and explosive moves. MMA is based on predetermined rules that are common to various other martial arts.
What does MMA consist of?
MMA brings together characteristics from many sports that contribute to the creation of a complex sport. These sports are:

- Kickboxing
- Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu
- Jiu Jitsu
- Karate
- Judo
- Kung Fu
- Tae Kwon Do
- Wrestling
In what categories is MMA divided?
Regarding the categories of men, there are the following:
- Flyweight – up to 56.7 kg
- Bantamweight – up to 61.23 kg
- Featherweight – up to 65.77 kg
- Light weight – up to 70.31 kg
- Welterweight – up to 77.11 kg
- Middleweight – up to 83.91 kg
- Light heavyweight – up to 92.99 kg
- Heavyweight – up to 120.2 kg
Regarding the categories of women, there are the following:
- Strawweight – up to 52.16 kg
- Flyweight – up to 56.7 kg
- Bantamweight – up to 61.23 kg
- Featherweight – up to 65.77 kg
